The Spirit of Ecstasy after the Rolls Royce Mascot represents "The Spirit of Manchester".Incidentally Mr Charles Rolls and Mr Henry Royce first met in Manchester in 1905 The Rolls Royce Ltd was formed in 1906 and their first cars started to be built in Manchester.
