With 33,000 people running they have to be started from different places in a staggered formation, different colours for different starts. I missed the Men's Winner, he was The World Marathon Record Holder Haile Gebreselassie from Ethiopia in a time of 27.31 minutes. He said that was slow owing to the Wind being against him for half of the course.
