Eastham Lock Gates.

This is the Last Lock on the Manchester Ship Canal before it Enters the River Mersey. The lock can only used at high tides when the canal level is similar to the Mersey Tidal Estuary. In the far distance you can just see the Liver Buildings across the Estuary.
