A Kingfisher.

This Kingfisher was a Surprise.I photographed this Bird in the middle of Manchester, just across the road from Granada Studios where Coronation Street is Filmed. The River Irwell runs through Manchester just by the Studio's. This shows that the "Irwell" is now clean and supports Fish. It used to be one of the most polluted rivers in Britain. Due to all the Cotton Mills around Manchester. (That's Got to be Good.)

One of Manchester's Great Pubs

In the middle of High Rise Manchester's Buildings lies, The Old Wellington Inn together with Sinclair's Oyster Bar, they use to be in  Shambles Square. They were moved from the Medieval Street below in 1925. Then had to be moved again as result of the I R A Bomb Blast in 1989, to their Current Position. Both Buildings are said to be Circa 16th Century.

A Statue ?

This man Stands and Pretends to be a Statue. He is dressed in black with gold paint all over him. He doesn't move for a long time. If you put money in his hat he will smile. The children think that he is wonderful. I have yet to work out how he doesn't fall over? LOL.

There is no Shortage of Food on the Markets. Toasted Muffins ( or Balm Cakes as we say in Manchester ) are turned into Delicious and Spicy Snacks. Eat yourself Thin? I don't think so. Ha Ha.

These Beautiful Snow Men are looking on at the Children who are enjoying the Christmas Fair in Piccadilly Gardens. There is plenty of Lemonade and Orangeade to be had, on the Burger Stalls to keep the Children Happy and Contented.
