There is no Shortage of Food on the Markets. Toasted Muffins ( or Balm Cakes as we say in Manchester ) are turned into Delicious and Spicy Snacks. Eat yourself Thin? I don't think so. Ha Ha.

Bavarian Pub.
This Bavarian Tower is part of the Pub which sells copious amounts of "Gluevien" and Lot's of other Alcoholic Drinks. The whole area is surrounded with a fence and gates which allow the Public in, but don''t allow alcoholic drink out. Drinks can only be drunk on the premises.

This Foot Cleaning Process has come over from the Far East. It is now popular Manchester. You put your Feet in the Aquarium and about Twenty Fish eat the Dead Skin on your Feet, for Price of Course. (Good for the Soul?) LOL.

This is the Out Door Ice Rink in the Middle of Manchester. This is normally a big attraction at this time of the Year. Mother Nature has taken over this Year with Temps of -10 to -20 the Arctic Weather, includes Snow, the Coldest we have had for Years.

Here we see a Great Stall selling German Sausages such Bratwurst, Schnitzel and Kartoffeln. All being cooked over a charcoal fire ready to be put on bread to Eat Now.

These Beautiful Snow Men are looking on at the Children who are enjoying the Christmas Fair in Piccadilly Gardens. There is plenty of Lemonade and Orangeade to be had, on the Burger Stalls to keep the Children Happy and Contented.

Christmas in Manchester is Celebrated Big Time. We have a lot of Christmas Markets in the City Streets all round the Town Hall. The latest attraction is a Fairground in the Piccadilly Gardens where the Main Bus Station is.

In 1835 three young assistants Kendal , Milne and Faulkner bought a Shop called the Bazaar. This became the first Department Store in the World. This year is its 175th anniversary and is still giving Quality Service to the People of Manchester.

Finally this is the outside of the New Cancer Clinic showing the Great Style of the Building. This makes the The Christie the Biggest Cancer Hospital in Europe. Also the leading "drug companies" can try out their latest drugs with the Permission of the Patients. Its a Gamble, but you would try anything to extend your life. (Yes!)

In the New Extension some of the Patients need about 12 hours of Chemotherapy depending on which Cancer they have. Hence the need for beds. Twelve hours in a Chair can be uncomfortable.

This Sarcophagus is the Outer One of the Three that the Pharaoh Tutankhamun was encased in. If you look Carefully it even had Engraved Wings. When Howard Carter knocked a hole in the Tomb Entrance this is what he saw. The tomb robbers had not a found the entrance, so all the Gold Objects were still there. Including a Gold Bed and a Gold Chariot in the Outer Chamber.

This is the Triumph Mayflower, (not to sure what year?) It's a Magnificent Open Topped Sports Car with a great Colour. It has two good size seats at the front, and the back seats are Dicky Seats, so not to much room. It was built for Touring Holidays

On the Second Floor there is an Atrium in the New Extension, so more light is given to the Top Floor where the Private Patients are treated. A time capsule has been buried in the Atrium be opened in 20 years Time

This is a Reconstruction of the Burial Chamber that Howard Carter found in the tomb. He carefully photographed everything with his plate graph camera. So we have a very good idea of the Breath Taking of the scene that he found in 1922.

A Brilliant Labour Saving Device in the New Extension is this Pneumatic Delivery System, which delivers Blood Samples to the Blood Laboratory in the main hospital building. The sample's are Patients Blood which is carefully monitored during "Chemo". I remember the Co-op used to have the same system in the 1950s for money. So nothings new. LOL.

This Black and White Photograph is the two men that were responsible for finding the Tomb. British Archaeologists Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon who Banked Roll the whole expedition. It took two years back breaking work before they found it.

This is the New Pharmacy where the Chemo is stored, and the Patient will collect the Chemo and go to the allotted chair where a Nurse will hook up him or her to the drug. Chemo is temperature sensitive so is kept in a controlled environment.

These Chemotherapy Chairs 60 of them enable "The Christie Hospital" to treat 200 Cancer Patients a day, and up to 500 a week in their "Super New Extension". Which makes the Manchester Hospital the Biggest in Europe for Cancer. The extension become functional in a weeks time.

Vintage Cars.
This looks like a Ford Consul Shooting Brake, but I am not sure?. Notice the Chrome Strips on the Doors and Body Work. It was found later that at the conjunction of the two metals caused metal corrosion to the body. Now days Chrome Strips have plastic underneath them.

Morris Minor.
This Vintage Morris Minor with a Split Windscreen and Soft Top has got to be before WW2. It is in great condition, has the old black and silver number plates, which are illegal now, except on vintage cars.
